The above is also a NEW little set being released today. I’m going to use this to tag a gift, maybe even a cupcake. It’s SO cute!

In the above tag, I used the NEW set by Susan Weckesser. I could also see using this set to scrapbook some summer pictures on the beach, at a concert, or just kickin’ it in the backyard.

Speaking of scrappin’, next up is an 8-1/2-x-11-inch scrapbook layout I put together recently showcasing a picture I took with my girls following a much-needed girls day out getting our hair done, having lunch, and shopping. I LOVE these days when it’s just me and my girls. 

On this layout, I used a technique called candle wax resist (with watercolors on watercolor paper) to create the background.  I did a quick little video, so you can see how it came together.
