Whew!! Did you see that? That was July flying by . . .
It’s Thursday and together we’re hopping with the Unity Stamp Company Design Team providing some inspiration, showing a couple of NEW stamp sets from Tifany DeGough, and Unity has another HOT sale!!
Here’s a peek at the NEW stamp sets, Little Ladies & Little Lads—SUPER cute!
Today I’m going to share a couple of projects I’ve done recently (using Unity’s Kit of the Month and Layers of Life Kit) with videos to show you some quick tips to help put your Unity projects together.
First up is a QUICK TIP video showing you how to create texture using masking tape. We probably all have this lying around the garage or in the office. It’s easy and fun to use.
Here’s a still picture of the tag I put together in the video.
Next up is an 8-1/2-x-11-inch scrapbook layout I put together showcasing a few pictures and journaling from our family’s trip to this year’s California State Fair in Sacramento, California. Around this time of year, we’re all visiting our county and state fairs. I think my favorite part of the fair is strolling the carnival area and holding my hubby’s hand while we watch our children take it all in. OH—and I love the deep fried moon pie!
I did a quick little video, so you can see how it came together. Please watch!
I used Unity’s Kit of the Month, Halo Dirty, to embellish the tag and the scrapbook layout. I promise you will have so much fun coloring or paper piecing the ice cream/cone. You can literally put that camera on anything scrap related and call it DONE! The zigzag ribbon is another staple embellishment to add to your rubber stamp arsenal that you can use over and over again.
I also used the background stamp in this month’s Layers of Life Kit, Devotion and Faith, on the tag above.
We have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to giveaway. Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win. The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog.
Be sure you take advantage of Unity’s latest promotion!
SALE STARTS AT NOON CENTRAL TIME
PLEASE share your lovely creations on Facebook with the Unity {show & tell) Facebook group. Lots of us check-in there daily (I check in several times daily--I’m addicted to inspiration).
Thank you all so much for hopping along with us and leaving positive comments. They are MUCH appreciated. If you ever have questions regarding my creative process or crafty items or tools that I use along the journey, PLEASE leave me your questions in the comments.
