My new Futura and my Cricut!

Recently my husband purchased for me a Singer Futura CE-250--my early, early Christmas present. It's an amazing sewing machine, but more importantly, it's an embroidery machine. It came with software that will digitize images you download from the internet or scan into your computer. Well--ding-ding--I started thinking how many ways I can mingle my Cricut with my Futura. This was my first attempt. I scanned in the "Daddy's Girl" die cut from one of my daughter's favorite cartridges--Hannah Montana.

The second image was my very first tshirt done with my Futura. I used a dingbat font for the snowflake.

If anyone else has used a Cricut die cut image with their embroidery machine, please let me know. I'd love to see what you've come up with using the Cricut. Also, I'm very new to machine embroidery, please share any tips you think I might benefit from after viewing these images--thanks in advance.

I have used the cricut and futura to embroider Hello Kitty for my Grandaughters in the same manner as you did. I just discovered someone on Youtube that uses Cricut Craftroom and you dont even need to have the cartridge or a cricut to do it just register on Cricut.com check out her tutorial.
