Happy Love Day

happy love daylg

I came across this card file the other day in the Silhouette America Online Store and immediately felt inspired to create a valentine using this Unity sentiment.  You get the card base, the frame with heart cut from the middle, and the inside piece for the sentiment. It went together very quickly and easily with minimal supplies.  Easy-peasy!

Happy Love Day Card Supplies

The sentiment is from the December 2013 Kit of the Month available at Unity Stamp Company.

The card (A2 Heart Pop Dot Card by Lori Whitlock) is available from the Silhouette America Online Store.  It was cut from Matte Photo Paper by Staples and Grey Wool Cardstock by Close To My Heart.  The card/card pieces were print-and-cut using my Silhouette Cameo/Hewlett Packard Photosmart B8550 with the Just Add Color and Floral Mini Kits available at Digital Project Life.  I used the red and black Silhouette Sketch Pens with the continuous feature selected in the software inside the frame and around the heart.  Also, the dashed line on the card base was accomplished with the black Silhouette Sketch Pen using perforate cut.  The frame on the card was adhered using 3D foam adhesive.

Enjoy your weekend!

This card is adorable! So beautiful! I wish I had the pen holder now for my Silhouette... without it, just too much work! TFS

Rachel--thanks for the comment! I used the Silhouette Sketch pen. No pen holder required for those. It fits right in where the blade housing sits. You remove the blade and put in the pen. That's it.
