Stamp-Scrap-Craft It Forward
With this new year, I want to begin a new venture.
Most of you can understand and relate to how many craft supplies, tools, goodies, etc., a crafter can accumulate attending expos, craft parties, craft stores, and being a part of design teams, blog hops, and so on. I’ve been VERY fortunate. It’s now time for me to share my good fortune with YOU.
I’ve enjoyed every minute of sharing my process with you on YouTube. What I would like is very simple. I need FEEDBACK. My goal is to capture a couple of videos every month and give away the project that was completed in the video with a craft goodie to one lucky random winner. All shipping costs of the item and craft goodie will be paid by me. All you have to do is comment (and like) that video from my YouTube channel and then comment my blog post that you have commented the video. Details of the timeframe will be included in the blog post. I want to GIVE back. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time. Please SHARE your thoughts with me.
Here is the first video and project I will use to
Stamp-Scrap-Craft
It Forward
Here’s a link to the video on YouTube: http://youtu.be/LvYBIzn0c8k?list=UUpr6WaZuT7sx1curyOmI-9g
The goodie that will go with the tag made in the video will be the Unity Stamp that was used in the video, “Here’s to New Beginnings” by Angie Blom. It was Unity’s Stamp of the Week recently.
The random winner will be announced
on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
Good Luck to YOU!!

Unity Blog Hop 12.25.14!!
Merry Christmas to YOU and to all of the special people in your lives! You are all so very dear to us and I’m so thankful to be sharing some time with you today.
We’re having a happy Unity Blog Hop for you, with some prizes to be won, and I got a few NEW videos for you, too.

I’ve got some tags to share using Unity stamps with assembly videos. Creating with tags is one of my most favorite ways to craft. For me, they’re almost like a crafting joy ride. Most of the time, there’s no reason at all to make them. I just want to, so I know there’s no pressure that anyone is going to receive it or that anyone has applied any kind of special attachment to it. It’s just for me. Therefore, the theme, color, motivation, etc., is all mine and mine alone. It’s probably never going to leave my craft room. I can hold on to it as long as I want to. Last Saturday night I had a tremendous urge to make tags, so I “Let the December 2014 Tag-A-Palooza begin!”
Here’s what I came up with and I am tagging you to make some tags of your own.
Here are all the tags below in one picture.
If you get some time to unwind from the holidays and want to see Unity images in action, here’s a link to my StampTech Playlist on YouTube: http://youtu.be/W0b3HYQzoD0?list=PLjd8JiNx2C43c_Wq-XTvwAmfmym2MW-ra
Making these videos for you made my year! I thoroughly enjoy crafting with you all virtually over my shoulder in my laundry room studio. Thank YOU so much for being there!!

Create & Inspire Podcast #28: Unconventional Ways to Create a Dedicated Creative Space
Recently, I was contacted by Aunia Kahn who is the Podcast host from Create and Inspire.
Every Thursday, this podcast shares creative tips, tricks and advice regarding art and crafting. She also interviews successful artists and art-focused businesses and shares their stories on success, struggles, and the passion of being in the world of creativity.
I was over the moon that she shared a link to my Laundry Room Studio YouTube Video Tour I posted last May for her latest Create & Inspire Podcast #28: Unconventional Ways to Create a Dedicated Creative Space.
This podcast gives you some unconventional space ideas to help you create your own dedicated space and enlighten you on how any space, big or small, can be transformed into an area all your own AND why it’s important for creative people like us.

“Wishing You Happiness” Unity SOTW
Above is a picture of a card I put together using this awesome Stamp of the Week available at Unity Stamp Company, August 24-30, 2014.
Clean and simple cards have been all the rage the past few years and sending them to friends and loved ones can be much easier than the bulky dimensional cards. Right? Sometimes, though, I’m inspired by a stamp to build a card from the stamp up and then out.
Do you know what I mean?
This week’s Stamp of the Week made me a card builder using layers, dimension, folds, pop dots, glossy accents, embossing folders, etc. I tried to stop after a couple of layers but I just kept building a card to showcase this fancy bird. It’s pretty fancy and deserves the attention I think. It’s SO fun to color.
I’ve included a very QUICK video for dimensional demonstration purposes only. I just couldn’t capture the dimension of the above card with my camera.
It’s quick, I promise, under 30 seconds.
There are only TWO days left to add this BEAUTIFULLY detailed Stamp of the Week to your crafty stash.
I have no doubt it will make YOU and others very happy.
