Today we are happily blog-hopping with Susan K. Weckesser’s team AND there’s a new Unity {be inspired} Challenge which includes an inspiration color photo, a card sketch, and a scrapbook layout sketch! I’m SERIOUS—every Thursday feels like a celebration to me because of Unity Stamp Company—Thank YOU, Angela and company!
Let’s start with the card I made using this month’s inspiration color photo from the {be inspired} challenge. Does your hubby, boyfriend, significant other, etc., still give YOU butterflies? After 13 years, I’m happy to say that MINE still does!
The butterfly and sentiment is from this month’s Kit of the Month, “In Love with Love”.

All print-and-cut items were printed and cut using Matte Photo Paper by Staples/Silhouette Cameo/Hewlett Packard Photosmart B8550.
Watercolor Brush: Art Rage 4
Card base/shape: Silhouette America Online Store
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug A2 Embossing Folder, Hugs & Kisses
Adhesive: 3M Foam Mounting Tape & Scotch ATG 700
For my next project, I used the scrapbook sketch WITH the color challenge photo as inspiration for my 8-1/2-x-11-inch layout of my beautiful daughters, Gwen and Brandi, which was taken this past Sunday when we were waiting for the dolphin show, Drench, at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California.
WOW! It was the first day of a three-day heat wave. I’m never prepared for that kind of weather—it’s just exhausting. The camera, title, subtitle, and images on the tickets were from this month’s SMAK Kit, “This Right Here”.
