Greetings to you all--I’m so happy to have you here!
Today I’ve got a scrapbook layout using April’s SMAK kit with a sentiment from a previous kit of the month and a super simple card using the NEW Sentiment Kit, All About You.
The layout above features a picture of my youngest daughter, Gwen, from a few years back during one of my oldest daughter’s graduations. I love the playful look in her eyes! I used Unity’s {be inspired} scrapbook sketch (turned on it’s side) AND the color combination from the challenge as well.
(clicking on the image below will take you to this month’s Unity {be inspired} Challenge—COME PLAY ALONG!)
Below is a peek at April’s SMAK kit, Wildflowers and Wings, which is perfect for all of your Spring project needs . . . and then some!
(clicking on the image will take you to the product page at Unity)
I also used a sentiment on the above layout from the August 2013 Kit of the Month—Grateful for you EVERYDAY
Below is a peek at that kit of the month, Cozy Moments

Other “Grateful for you EVERYDAY” Supplies
Project Life cards from Maggie Holmes Styleboard Mini Kit available at digitalprojectlife.com
A staple was applied to the tab of the project life card using Tim Holtz’s Tiny Attacher
Ribbon with the sentiment, Grateful for you EVERYDAY, and the slide frame were purchased from the Silhouette America Online Store
All print-and-cut items were printed and cut using Matte Photo Paper by Staples/Silhouette Cameo/Hewlett Packard Photosmart B8550
A Wink-of-Stella pen was used on the petals of the daisy
White accents from Imaginisce were applied to the butterfly using their I-Rock tool
Bakers twine was tied in a bow through the wooden heart-shaped button (which was received as a free gift in a previous Kit of the Month from Unity)
3D Zots were used under the sentiment, daisy, and wooden heart-shaped button
A zigzag stitch using brown embroidery thread was applied around the layout using my Singer Futura In the above card, I wanted the sentiment to be the focus of the card which uses a Digital Project Life title card for the basis of the design. Project Life cards aren’t just for scrapbooking. They not only simplify the process of designing cards but you’re stretching your supplies to meet your needs. STAMP on them using Unity. I promise you’ll love the simplicity!
Below is a peek at the NEW Sentiment Kit, All About You—you will use this kit again and again for all of your sentiment needs.
