Unity Stamp Company Tag Challenge Day 4

slow and steadylg

Day 4 of the tag challenge is going on at the Facebook Unity Show & Tell Group Page.  Just ONE MORE DAY.  I’m pretty sad about that as I’ve been grinning all week making these tags—it can’t be almost the end.  There’s still time to participate, though.  Get your tags done.

The above tag is my Day 4 submission.  Slow and Steady is another one of my all-time favorite Itty-Bitty stamps from Unity.  I paired that stamp with the sentiment of another Itty Bitty—Destination Happiness.  That Itty Bitty has the cutest trailer on it, but I just wanted to use the sentiment with the Slow and Steady set.  Slow and Steady puts a smile on my face and the sentiment couldn’t be better paired with it.  Who cares if you’re not trailblazing through the pack, as long as you keep going and have fun while you’re getting there.

Supplies for Tag 4

Slow and Steady and Destination Happiness Itty Bitty Stamp sets by Unity Stamp Company

Tim Holtz Tag & Bookplates Die by Sizzix; Black Soot, Vintage Photo, & Pumice Distress Inks

Slow and Steady was colored using Inktense Ink Pencils (LOVE these)

Playful Patterned Papers by Nancie Rowe Janitz available NOW at jessicasprague.com (see set below)

Tag topper (which was cut from a 3-x-4-filler card from Becky Higgins Jade kit from Digital Project Life) and tag fastener by Silhouette America

Little heart in the sentiment was punched using Martha Stewart (multi)heart punch and colored using a Tim Holtz Festive Berries Distress Marker

Heavy duty Jute twine from the hardware supply store

Below is a peek at Nancie Rowe Janitz’s Playful Patterned Paper kit I used in the background of my tag above.  In the tag above, I printed one of the backgrounds for my tag and added the above distress inks to edge it once the tag was die cut, not a necessity, though.
