Unity Stamp of the Week: Single Flower Miracle

Happy Father’s Day!

I hope you all are enjoying the day honoring your father, grandfather, stepdad, or the person in your life who has acted as a father figure to you in your past, present, and future.

Give him a BIG hug! Being a father isn’t easy, you know!

Today is also Sunday which provides a peek at the new stamp of the week at Unity.This is an absolutely brilliant image for all kinds of coloring, albeit watercolor, distress pens, copics--YOU name it.

I watercolored the image for my card and then applied a clear Wink-of-Stella pen for some twinkle fun.

The picture above shows the bit of twinkle added to the flower here and there.

Unity Blog Hop 06.12.14!

Today we are happily blog-hopping with Susan K. Let’s start with the card I made using this month’s inspiration color photo from the {be inspired} challenge.  Does your hubby, boyfriend, significant other, etc., still give YOU butterflies? After 13 years, I’m happy to say that MINE still does!

The butterfly and sentiment is from this month’s Kit of the Month, “In Love with Love”.

For my next project, I used the scrapbook sketch WITH the color challenge photo as inspiration for my 8-1/2-x-11-inch layout of my beautiful daughters, Gwen and Brandi, which was taken this past Sunday when we were waiting for the dolphin show, Drench, at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California.

WOW! It was the first day of a three-day heat wave. I’m never prepared for that kind of weather—it’s just exhausting.The camera, title, subtitle, and images on the tickets were from this month’s SMAK Kit, “This Right Here”.
